Colleen
Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator
Colleen joined the team in 2013 after completing the dental assisting program at BATC and earning her CDA. After two years of assisting, she moved to our front office where she is now our office manager and insurance coordinator. Some of her responsibilities include checking insurance benefits and filing claims, setting the schedule for all three offices and our doctor, answering calls, checking patients in, and scheduling appointments. Colleen loves seeing how happy our patients are when they get their braces off and have a great smile.
Colleen lives in Franklin, Idaho, and has five adult children. In her spare time, she loves singing, fishing, kayaking, riding her motorcycle, and spending time with family.
Susie
Front Office Receptionist
Susie loves her job and everything she does for Poole Orthodontics, even after being here for more than 35 years! She is one of the receptionists, you will hear on the phone helping make your son or daughter's appointments, or taking your payment. Susie handles filing and sends correspondence to other oral healthcare providers. And on Fridays, she brings in the treats!
Susie was born in Logan, UT and has lived here all her 60 years. She has loved and cared for many cats during her lifetime. She’s an avid Utah State Aggie fan and loves going to help cheer on the Aggies as they play different sports including football, basketball, gymnastics, and volleyball. Susie likes to read and spend time with her sister, especially when they go on cruises—they’ve been on eight so far!
Laura
Human Resources
Laura’s love for accounting, having things in order, and working with people made her a perfect fit for our team when she joined us in 1984. She keeps busy by managing staff benefits, payroll, accounting, and new employees. In her time here, she’s built wonderful friendship with her coworkers and Dr. Poole, whose love for his job makes her love her role here even more.
Laura’s job in addition to her work at Poole Orthodontics is as Director of Mountain West String Academy. She loves them both—they fill her organizational side, as well as her creative side! Laura has five daughters who are the best and 14 grandchildren who are her joy!
Nicole
Front Office Coordinator
Nicole has worked at Poole Orthodontics since 2018. You will see her up front helping answer phone calls, making appointments, and greeting patients as they come in for their appointments! She loves working with people, from young kids to teens and the older patients, and getting to watch their smiles change.
Nicole lives in Cache Valley with her husband, three kids, and two dogs. She likes to spend her time watching her kids play sports, camping and kayaking, attending concerts, and being with family and friends. She loves to travel to new places and loves Nebraska football!
Yvonne
Treatment Coordinator and Orthodontic Tech
Yvonne has the wonderful opportunity of meeting and greeting our new patients and introducing them to the world of orthodontics. She also prepares and presents treatment plans and financial estimates to patients who are looking to begin their journey with braces. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is seeing the braces come off and the look on patients’ faces with their new BIG smiles and the confidence they now have.
In her free time, Yvonne enjoys hiking, going on road trips, and traveling as much as she can. She also loves spending time with her family and friends!
Becca
Treatment Coordinator and Orthodontic Tech
Becca has always found braces interesting, so when the opportunity to join Poole Orthodontics came up, she jumped at the chance! Now, almost two years down the road, it’s ended up being one of the best and most rewarding jobs she’s ever had. Becca really enjoys working with the patients and being able to watch their progress and seeing their smiles change! She loves taking a patient’s braces off and seeing them look in the mirror for the first time without having braces on!
Becca spends her free time with her spouse and two dogs. They are very excited to be expecting their first baby in July! Becca enjoys working on her small Etsy business and going out Jeeping and camping with her husband and dogs.
Carin
Orthodontic Tech
Carin grew up in Cache Valley, with many of her friends and family members coming to Poole Orthodontics. She was always impressed with the beautiful smiles that came from those visits. Growing up, she did not give much thought to what she wanted to do after high school other than knowing it would be something related to the medical field. Then one day she had the great idea to work for Dr. Poole. She loves working with our patients, getting to know them better, and watching their smiles change.
Carin and her husband welcomed a little girl into their family the end of last year and have loved the journey into parenthood (but not so much the lack of sleep). Her husband is finishing his degree in aviation technology, and she loves watching him fly (both metaphorically and literally). If you ever find Carin in her “natural habitat,” it will probably include her family, a fun card game, and some good music in the background.
Chloe
Orthodontic Tech and X-ray Tech
Chloe attended Bridgerland Technical College here in Logan, UT, and completed their dental assisting program in 2020. She’s involved in all parts of our patients’ treatment, from preparing patients’ teeth for braces, changing color ties, changing wires, taking photos and X-rays on patients, and assisting Dr. Poole in taking braces off. Of course, meeting so many people every day and helping them achieve their best smile is her favorite part!
Chloe is from Long Beach, CA, and has lived in Utah for 15 years. She has always enjoyed playing sports and still likes to stay active by going to the gym and on long hikes. She also loves to bake, especially cookies!
Emily
Orthodontic Tech and 3D Lab Tech
Emily, who joined Poole Orthodontics in 2021, assists in maintaining our patients’ braces and printing 3D models to send to our labs. She is certified in general dental assisting, orthodontic assisting, and radiology, which makes her a great asset to our team. Emily likes that she gets to work with different patients every day and play a role in making them proud of their smiles.
Emily loves to be outside and enjoys painting. She has three lizards and two cats, and loves all animals. She’s always up for new adventures!
Madi
Orthodontic Tech
A graduate of Bridgerland Technical College, Madi joined our team in 2021. She’s one of our assistants, so patients will work with her throughout their treatment, as she helps put braces on, adjust them, and—best of all—takes them off! Madi loves meeting new people and seeing their smiles change throughout their treatment.
Madi was a dancer for more than ten years and got to compete in many places including Disneyland! She enjoys anything and everything outdoors, especially going for Jeep rides on random backroads in the mountains, as well as traveling and seeing new places.
Rosi
Orthodontic Tech and 3D Lab Tech
As an orthodontic assistant, Rosi’s main job is to work alongside Dr. Poole and assist in the application of braces, aligners, or expanders, as well as working with each patient and educating them about the treatment and importance of oral hygiene. She also has the opportunity to create 3D models for braces and retainers! Each day, Rosi comes into the office excited to see each patient and work her hardest to see the confidence they gain throughout their treatment. Most rewarding is seeing how happy each patient is after getting their braces off!
When she’s not at the office, you can catch Rosi outside taking pictures of Utah's landscapes, going on road trips, and spending time with her family!
Robyn
Orthodontic Tech
When you visit Dr. Poole for an adjustment, you may also meet Robyn, one of our orthodontic assistants. A certified dental assistant since 2006, she worked in pediatrics and orthodontics before joining our team. She is welcoming and warm, and loves seeing people gain confidence in their smiles.
Robyn is a happy wife and a proud mom of three great kids. She loves spending time with them doing indoor and outdoor activities, enjoys yard work, and relaxes by doing her nails.
